Control the mix of familiar vs. new recipes on your weekly menu

Everyone loves new recipes – they are fun to make and fun to eat! But when it comes to cooking 4+ days a week for your household, very few people want to cook a new recipe every single day – it’s just too hard!

Our goal at Gatheredtable is to give you a weekly menu that is doable, which means it’s full of recipes that you’ll actually make. And for many of you, this means a mix of new recipes with tried-and-true favorites that you can make with your eyes closed.

Our latest update to gatheredtable.com makes this possible – by giving you a choice of how often you want your menu to include recipes recommended by us.

Here’s how it works:

  • In your menu preferences, go to “Weekly Menu Mix” and choose the setting that works best for your household (you can do this from a desktop or mobile browser).
  • If you don’t already have many of your own recipes in your library, start adding some! You can type them in, copy from the gatheredtable library and edit them, or use the gatheredtable recipe clipper to save recipes from any website.
  • As you add your own recipes, you can even choose to set their “frequency” – this impacts how often a recipe will appear on your menu.
  • That’s it! Starting next week, you start to see more of your own recipes on your menus.

This is just one of many updates that we’re making based on feedback from you, our loyal customers! Your feedback is making Gatheredtable better – please keep it coming!
